No. SBK never runs continuous tracking. Location is only ever shared as part of a signal you actively send — and only with the trusted circle you choose. When your signal stands down, sharing stops.
Your circle is the small group of trusted people — your keepers — you invite to respond when you signal. You build it, you control it, and you can add or remove anyone at any time. Noratec is never a member of your circle.
Routing is computed on your device. SBK calculates the fastest safe path between responders and you locally, then shares only the result with your circle over an encrypted channel. The intelligence never leaves your phone as raw data.
SBK is built for low- and no-signal moments. A distress signal is held safely on-device and transmits automatically the instant any connection returns, so help can begin moving the moment you're reachable.

No. SBK strengthens the trusted circle around you and helps coordinate response — it complements official emergency services and is not a substitute for them. In a life-threatening emergency, always contact your local emergency number.
